Time for the media to back off

This week Katie Price (yes her again) hit the headlines after posting a picture of her ‘naked torso’ on Twitter.

It appears Katie was proudly showing off the results of some sort of juice diet which has led to her losing a bit of weight and gaining a hell of a lot of criticism.

Newspapers are suggesting that Katie is being irresponsible by posting the picture online where it could influence young teenage girls that may aspire to look like her.

In my opinion the newspapers are being just as irresponsible.

Sure young girls and woman may have seen the picture on Twitter but just think how many more have seen it now it has been published in newspapers and on newspaper websites.

If the media really was concerned about the problems woman have with their body image they would not bring attention to fad diets and celebrities gaining or losing a bit of weight.

My proudest 'blogging moment' was when Lord John Prescott suggested people take a look at one of my posts on body image. I really do appreciate people reading my blogs. Thanks.
